AultComp MCO's role is to manage the medical issues related to your injury. Also, to assure that you as the injured worker is fully informed of the role and responsibilities of the managed care organization (MCO), case management function and the injured workers' right under the rules and regulations of the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) as they relate to the Health Partnership Plan. The following are your rights as an Injured Worker with AultComp MCO.


  • Ability to choose to participate in case management.


  • Participation in the development of the case management plan.


  • Selection of provider/treatment of choice as outlined in the BWC statues and regulations.


  • The right to be provided alternative approaches to participation in the assessment/case management process when unable to fully participate.


  • The right to self-determination of advanced care and end of life directives when applicable.


  • Written notification of changes in the treatment plan via C-9.


  • Written notification of closure of the case management plan including the rationale.
